Keppel orders cranes from TTS Group

TTS Group ASA has, through its subsidiary TTS NMF GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, secured a new contract with Keppel Singmarine Pte. Ltd. in Singapore for the delivery of one 200t Leg Encircling Crane and one 50t pedestal offshore crane to the yard Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine in Qatar.

Keppel orders cranes from TTS Group
The Leg Encircling Crane is based on the TTS NMF in-house developed 900 tonne heavy lift offshore crane, installed on board the jack-up vessel Aeolus.

The contract has a total value of approximately MNOK 50 ($8.3 million). Through this contract, TTS Group has gained another foothold in the offshore market with the mid-size offshore lattice boom crane.

The contract is entered shortly after a successful installation of a crane based on the same TTS design principles. The 200 tonne Leg Encircling Crane is based on the design principles of the TTS NMF in-house developed 900 tonne heavy lift offshore crane, which was installed on board the jack-up vessel Aeolus in February 2014 in Hamburg, Germany.

TTS NMF, globally renowned for its heavy lift cranes, has been a part of TTS Group since 2012. TTS NMF has further strengthened TTS Group’s market position for marine and offshore cranes. TTS NMF has many times demonstrated the capacities of developing innovative products and is looking forward to the delivery of high-quality cranes that will serve the needs of the ship owners and the operators.

The deliveries are scheduled to take place in March-May 2015.
