KPE grows its hydrogen team

KP Engineering, U.S. EPC solutions company, has promoted DeLome Fair to principal process engineer with the task to expand the company’s syngas and hydrogen plant design and execution.

KPE is reponsible for designing, executing, and delivering customized engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions for the refining, syngas and hydrogen and renewable fuels industries

DeLome Fair will be responsible for the growth of the company’s syngas and hydrogen business. She will be based in KPE’s Houston office.

Fair, who has a nearly 30-year career, has been responsible for more than 30 syngas, hydrogen, and gasification projects. For several of these, she has led the design and start-up teams and has performed technical services.

At KPE, Fair was involved in the design of a 9000 BPD renewable diesel unit. She had the lead role on 45 MMSCFD and 87 MMSCFD hydrogen plant projects.

Prior to KPE, Fair served as president and CEO of Synthesis Energy Systems, which focused on commercializing new syngas production technology, as well as in various syngas-related leadership roles for the General Electric Company, and as a lead engineer in Texaco’s syngas, hydrogen and power businesses.
