KSJV in Line to Win APLNG Contract

SCEE announced that its LNG focussed joint venture KSJV has received a Limited Notice of Award from Bechtel to perform Electrical Installation Services works at the Australia Pacific LNG project on Curtis Island in Queensland.

The awarded value of the subcontract will be $50m subject to final agreement and will be performed on a cost reimbursable basis.

KSJV is a 50:50 joint venture between SCEE and international E&I contractor Kentech.

SCEE’s Managing Director and Chairman of the KSJV Board Simon High said “I am very pleased to have received this Limited Notice of Award from Bechtel. KSJV was formed to provide Tier One E&I services to the LNG sector and securing this first award is a milestone event for us. With six Australian LNG plants, including three on Curtis Island, having achieved Final Investment Decision and scheduled to be completed over the next three to five years the E&I construction peak in the LNG sector is still to come.”
