Kunlun: Largest Tube Trailer Inspection Base Completed (China)

On 8 August 2012, Urumqi Tube Trailer Inspection Station under China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute (CSEI) was completed in Midong district, Urumqi city, Xinjiang province and a grand opening was held.

Mr. Lin Shuqing, the President of CSEI, Mr. Ni Xinchang, the Director of Specialty Equipment Supervision Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Mr. Tan Chenggui, the Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Urumqi City, Mr. Yang Baoying, the General Manager of Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. and Mr. Wang Xinliang, the General Manager of Xinjiang Xinjie Co., Ltd., which Kunlun Energy Company Limited is the holding company, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Tan Chenggui, the Deputy Mayor, hosted the ceremony and announced a formal opening of the inspection station.

This project was cooperative constructed by Kunlun Energy with CSEI and Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. Maintenance Centre of Natural Gas Trailer of Xinjie Company, which Kunlun Energy company limited is the holding company, and Urumqi Service Station of Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. were opened along with the project, which together have explored a new cooperative model of domestic safety inspection system for tube trailers and comprehensive service system for trailers. The inspection workshop has a gross floor area of 2,800 square meters and has the fully-equiped and advanced inspection lines for tube trailers and gas cylinder, with annual regular inspection capacity of 150 trailers and annual maintenance capacity of 550 trailers. Kunlun Energy has also independently researched and developed advanced technology of natural gas recovery, which makes this project come out in front in China in terms of energy efficiency and environmental protection.

After Urumqi tube trailer inspection station was completed and commenced operation, it not only has built a first-class production line for tube trailer inspection and maintenance in Northwest China, but also has provided the tube trailer customers with a well-equiped and customer-oriented inspection and maintenance training base, which will definitely play a positive and significant role in strengthening corporate safety inspection ability and improving brand image of Kunlun Energy.
