Kunlun Listed in Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings

Kunlun Energy said it has recently won the award as “the second fastest-growing energy company in Asia”, and ranked the 33th in the “2013 Asia Energy Company Rankings” and the 123th in the “2012 Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings”.

Platts 2013 Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings were elected in terms of four key metrics: assets, revenues, profits, and return on invested capital. The rankings fully reflect the financial results of listed energy companies with a total asset of over US$ 4 billion for the 2012 financial year.

The award received by Kunlun Energy for a consecutive second year gives significant recognition and supports to the results of the company over the past year.

Looking forward, the company will upkeep its development strategic positioning of “Gas in Substitution of Oil”, increase the promotion and application of LNG as a kind of clean energy, leverage on capital markets and its own advantages in order to improve results with steady steps.
