Citing the Arabic language daily newspaper Alseyassah, Reuters reported on Sunday that the state-owned Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) issued the tender for “the LNG storage and conversion services contract” at the Al-Ahmadi refinery.

The facility is currently undergoing expansion within Kuwait’s multi-billion-dollar clean fuel project.

Bidding for the project will close on October 6 and bidders must submit all documents specified by KNPC.

The local newspaper did not provide any further details regarding the tender.
