LNG Hrvatska issues call for investors in Krk terminal

LNG Hrvatska, the company that will build and operate the LNG terminal on the island of Krk issued a notice revealing the start of call for equity procedure.

The company is looking for bids on participation in the selection of investors to develop a terminal for receiving, storing and regasifying liquefied natural gas, with a 6 bcm nominal capacity, stands in the notice.

The project will cost around €600 million and will include two 180,000 cbm storage tanks and it will be able to receive LNG carriers with the capacity of up to 266,000 cbm.

The current project promoter’s shareholders are Hrvatska Elektroprivreda, the national electricity company of the Republic of Croatia and Plinacro, the national gas transmission system operator.

The deadline for submission of applicants’ proposals of investment is set for December 15, 2015.
