LNG Hrvatska to review five bids for advisory services on Krk project

LNG Hrvatska, a state-owned company responsible for setting up the LNG receiving, storage and regasification facilities on the Croatian island of Krk, received eight bids for advisory services on the LNG project. 

The company issued a tender looking for business, financial and legal advisory services.

According to local media reports, 5 offers of the 8 received before the deadline expired on January 16, will be reviewed over the next 30 days. Three bids were not up to the requested standards.

There was no official information on the received bids, but reports show that the alliance led by Ernst&Young offer the best financial terms for its advisory services.

The expected investment costs for the LNG terminal on Krk are in the range of EUR 760 million.

The planned regasification capacity of the facility is 4 to 6 cbm per year, with two 180,000 cbm storage tanks and ability to receive LNG carriers with the capacity of up to 265,000 cbm.

LNG Hrvatska is currently in the process of acquiring the location permit.
