LNG Roadmap Workshop to Be Held in Germany

The EnergieAgentur.NRW and the Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V. have announced the workshop “LNG Roadmap – LNG as a driving force for cross-border cooperation within the EU”, which will take place on the 3rd of July 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The event focuses on the development of LNG as an alternative fuel for maritime navigation and heavy-duty vehicles.

This event covers such topics as:

• political statements about LNG use in transportation sector;
• LNG infrastructure projects;
• LNG safety codes and regulations;
• examples of successful employment of LNG as an internal combustion engine fuel in Germany, in the Netherlands and in Scandinavia.

Special attention will be placed on the small-scale LNG infrastructure development in Europe.

Speakers will represent Port of Oslo, TNO, Gazprom Germania, MAN Diesel & Turbo, Rolande LNG, Bohlen und Doyen and many other reputable companies as well as ministries of Germany and the Netherlands.
