“This is the 25th ship under the technical management of LSC SM, and we see that we can grow it even more. Due to the expansion we are looking for new employees on Oil/Chemical tankers – senior officers, junior officers and ratings, so that we can continue providing professional services to our clients according to international quality standards,” Robert Kirkup, the Chairman of the Board of JSC Latvian Shipping Company, said.

The Suezmax tanker is intended for transportation of oil products, and is valued at USD 53 million, according to VesselsValue.

Elandra Falcon was built by South Korean Sungdong Shipbuilding and is the second tanker to be added this year to the fleet under LSCSM full technical management.

On April 19, Elandra Eagle was added to the company’s fleet. Built by Sungdong, Elandra Eagle flies the Marshall Islands flag.
