MacGregor, part of Cargotec, is looking to sell the majority shares of Woodfield Systems the provider of marine loading arms for LNG transfer.

Woodfield became part of MacGregor in January 2014, when MacGregor acquired mooring and loading systems unit from Aker Solutions.

The company’s solutions include marine loading arms for fluid transfer of crude oil, refined products and LPG in addition to liquefied natural gas.

Speaking of the agreement, Pasi Lehtonen, senior VP, marketing, business development and strategy, MacGregor, said Woodfield management is buying the majority of the shares of the company.

“The move will allow Woodfield to “fully concentrate on their core business and supporting their customers,” Lehtonen said.
