Malaysia - OMNI Group Receives New Additions in its Fleet

OMNI Group of companies that owns & operates a fleet of 10 vessels announces that it has received two additional offshore support vessels in OMNI’s fleet, Omni Marissa & Omni Stella

OMNI MARISSA

Omni Marissa is the 11th offshore support vessel of OMNI’s fleet.

She is 60m with deck space of 390m2, a DP-1 with 72mt Bollard Pull. She is driven by 5220 HP main engine and is an Anchor Handling cum with Towing Winch.

Omni Marissa features bulk handling system with tank capacities is suitable to support for handling bulk material such as cement, Barite and Bentonite. She can accommodate of 40 personnel on board.

Omni Marissa was launched on 17th May 2011 and has taken delivery on 22nd September 2011.

Omni Marissa is suitable giving support services such as Anchor Handling/ Fire fighting services/ Fresh water and bunker supply/ Crew Change /Accommodation & Emergency standby services and various other marine services.

OMNI STELLA

Omni Stella is the latest addition to OMNI’s fleet.

She is 61.2m, a DP1 Anchor Handling Tug Supply boat with 70t Bollard Pull. She is driven by 5220 BHP main engine.

Omni Stella was launched on 27th September 2011 tentatively scheduled to deliver on 15th December 2011.

Omni Stella is equipped with fire fighting system FiF1 Class 1 and has Cargo capacities with deck equipment/life saving/HSE equipment features. She can accommodate of 48 personnel on board. Navigation & communication and emergency life saving apparatus are accordance to SOLAR, IMO regulations.

With the additional of the two new vessels added to existing fleet is expected to enable OMNI Group of Companies stays competitive to provide compelling value proposition to prospective customers in the coming years.
