Scarabeo 8 rig

Scarabeo 8 has been operating for ENI Norge from the beginning of 2012 and will operate up to at least 2017.

The rig is capable of operating under harsh environmental conditions and is constructed especially for this purpose. The rig is equipped with a dynamic positioning (DP) system, allowing drilling at extreme water depths.

It is a 6th generation rig, with a double derrick, designed to offer enhanced operating capacity and performance. This particular rig has a long, bright and busy future ahead in Norwegian waters.
