Maritime Partner Launches Alusafe 1600, Norway

The latest model of Maritime Partner’s Alusafe range was launched at sea this week. The boat is a high speed patrol boat which will be delivered to the Republic of Ghana, Ministery of Transport.

The vessel will do its service at the Ghana Port and Harbor Authorities. Both the hull and superstructure are built in aluminum. Propulsion is taken care of by twin Volvo Penta D11 each developing 600 HP, connected to Hamilton HJ322 waterjets. Top speed is 35 knots.

The boat will be doing some sea trials locally before delivery is to take place.
