MCG Delivers Stappen High Survey Results

MCG, an international marine seismic data provider, specialising in 2D multi-client offshore seismic surveys offered to oil & gas companies worldwide, has announced that the processing of the MCG1302 data has been finalized.

The survey covers license PL720, awarded in the 22nd Concession Round, and open acreage in the Stappen High area in the western part of the Barents Sea.

Geologically the survey covers plays from Jurassic and older on the Stappen High area as well as proven Tertiary plays in the Vestbakken Volcanic Province to the west. The data has been broadband processed and pre-stack time migrated.

The M/V Akademik Nemchinov acquired the data and the processing was performed by PSS-Geo.
