MCG: Geoex to Add Value to Maximus Campaign
MultiClient Geophysical ASA (MCG), a marine seismic data provider, started operations on the 31,600 km Maximus 2D multi-client survey in Mexico on the July 25, 2015.
More than 2,000 km have been acquired and processing of first data has started with DownUnder GeoSolution (DUG) in Houston.
According to the company, fast-track products will soon be available from the survey and final products will be processed in both time and depth.
The survey is supported by the oil industry.
Furthermore, MCG has informed that Geoex International will finance part of the project in offshore Mexico.
Tom Wolden, CEO comments: “Geoex International is a geophysical and geological service company with focus on Multi-Client projects. MCG will operate, manage the project and wholly commercialize the data, in accordance with the CNH rules and regulations, while Geoex International will add value to the project through their experienced professional team in addition to opening up other investment possibilities for both parties in Mexico.”
