Meta Reaches Platt’s Global Energy Awards Finals (USA)

Aberdeen based premium downhole isolation company Meta, has reached the finals of the esteemed Platt’s Global Energy Awards.

Chosen from a list of over 200 nominations, the firm’s patented Metalmorphology technology has been shortlisted for the Leading Technology category where it will battle against firms from across the world for the title. Winners will be announced at a prestigious dinner held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York on 12 December 2013.

Metalmorphology is a unique and proven technology that allows metal to be shaped downhole and delivers instant, gas tight, V0 certified, permanent metal-to-metal isolation.

Commenting on reaching the finals of the awards, Kevin Stewart, CEO of Meta said: “Meta has produced a range of well integrity products, which are challenging industry norms and providing a new way of working. This news follows the recent announcement that Meta and its Liner Tieback product reached the finals of yet another high profile international award. It was shortlisted for the Best Deepwater Technology in the World Oil Awards.
