Minister Coleman Welcomes WesPac LNG Export Application

Minister of Natural Gas Development Rich Coleman has issued a statement following WesPac’s export request submission with Canada’s National Energy Board.

“British Columbia’s LNG potential is growing and creating opportunities for companies in our province. WesPac Midstream – Vancouver LLC is the latest company to submit an export request with Canada’s National Energy Board,” said Coleman.

“Our province has a vast supply of natural gas to support expansion and energy demands. WesPac will work with FortisBC to build an LNG operation near Vancouver that will serve both domestic and international needs,” notes Coleman welcoming WesPac to those looking to export clean energy to the Asia, creating jobs and new economic opportunities in B.C.
