Peru’s natural gas liquefaction and export facility at Pampa Melchorita shipped another cargo to Spain on Tuesday.

The cargo was loaded aboard the 135,072 cbm LNG carrier Gallina on September 20 and dispatched to Spain, although data from the state-owned Perupetro has not confirmed the exact destination of the vessel.

Gallina was the third cargo during the month of September and the 10th cargo shipped to Spain during 2016, the data shows.

With the latest cargo, Peru’s LNG export facility shipped 354 vessels in total, since it started operations in June 2010.

The 4.45 million tons per year gas liquefaction plant is located 170 kilometers south of Lima and receives gas via a 408-kilometer pipeline built across the Andes.
