More Qatari LNG bound for South Hook

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is awaiting more cargo loaded at the Ras Laffan port in Qatar.

The Al Samriya Q-Max LNG carrier, with a capacity of 263,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive at the South Hook terminal on May 24, according to port data.

The South Hook LNG terminal saw a busy two months with six cargoes delivered in April and this delivery marks the third shipment in five days and sixth in the month of May.

Owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, South Hook LNG terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of the chilled gas a year.
