NAN HAI JIU 202 Passes Sea Trials

On December 13th, “NAN HAI JIU 202”, the sixth coastal fast rescue vessel contracted and built by Afai Southern Shipyard for China Rescue and Salvage Bureau of Ministry of Transport, carried out its sea trials.

The results of the trials show that all the technical indexes of the main equipment on the vessel meet the design requirements, the vessel’s technical performance proved to be ideal, and the vessel is ready for delivery to Nanhai Rescue Bureau.

This vessel is a full aluminum wave-piercing catamaran, propelled by twin engines and twin waterjets, with large deck area, fine navigability, high speed and maneuverability. She has a capacity to carry a maximum of 200 rescued people, and meets the relevant requirements of the CCS rules on rescue vessels and aluminum high speed vessels.
