NC State University Hosts North Carolina Wind Energy Supply Chain Workshop

The North Carolina Wind Energy Supply Chain Workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at NC State University, where the future of America’s onshore and offshore wind industry will be discussed, reports Mfrtech news site.

This workshop is organised by the NC State University Industrial Extension Services, BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, GLWN, NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Southeastern Coastal Wind Coalition, North Carolina Solar Center and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association.

The workshop has been created for those who want to learn about the current market trends and supply chain opportunities in the wind energy industry. The workshop presenters have toured the world’s largest OEMs, both in the U.S. and in Europe, interviewed wind farm developers and general contractors, and have condensed the findings into this focused educational program.
