NDM to Supply Deck Machinery for VARD Newbuilds

NDM has signed new contracts with VARD Group for supply of deck machinery for two Pipe Lay Support Vessels (PLSVs) of VARD 3 16 design.

The vesselse will be built by VARD Promar in Brasil and delivered to DOF/Technip in Q4 2016 (EP09) and Q2 2017 (EP10).

For these vessels NDM will supply the following equipment:

• Two combined windlass/mooring winches
• Two off chain stoppers
• Two off mooring winches

All winches are electrical, frequency controlled, driven and is scheduled for delivery in February 2015 (EP09) and March 2016 (EP10).
