Neptune wraps up diving gig for Chevron

Australian provider of integrated engineered solutions to the oil and gas industry, Neptune Marine Services, has completed a diving project for the oil major Chevron in Australia.

The diving contract was awarded to Neptune in early 2016 under the previously awarded master services agreement (MSA).

According to Neptune’s statement, the contract, which was completed on April 13, included the provision of diving services for Barrow Island CBM (Conventional Buoy Mooring) Terminal, subsea hose change out and pig catcher removal, spar navigation aids change out and inspection, maintenance and repair work.

Neptune Chief Executive Officer, Robin King, said “Neptune is pleased at the successful outcome of this first call off as part of our Chevron Diving MSA which, coupled with our longstanding presence on Barrow Island, continues to develop and reinforce our ongoing relationship with Chevron.”
