New Members Join OMM

Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has welcomed two new members to its team.

Perry Symons joins the OMM as chief operating officer. Overseeing OMM international offshore projects, he will also co-ordinate service development at a strategic level.

Symons brings over twenty years’ experience and knowledge of the marine and subsea industry to OMM with a background as Master Mariner, experienced company director and managing director of a UK diving company, OMM noted.

In addition, Phae Pritchard has been appointed as operations and maintenance manager, coming from Centrica renewables, and will be responsible for current and future OMM projects.

Pritchard brings her expertise to both project management of technical engineering works, including subsea, wind turbine generators (WTG) and commissioning, and people management, from diverse project teams to senior stakeholder management, OMM added.

Rob Grimmond, managing director of OMM said: “Our dedicated workforce will benefit greatly from the diverse experience, and knowledge of the offshore industry, of our new team members. As the industry changes, OMM must be responsive to shifting market conditions, and to continue in developing the range of services which we offer in order that we maintain service quality and our strong market position. We have adapted and strengthened our strategic position by investing in the right people to drive innovation, enabling us to continue to deliver cost effective topside and subsea solutions that meet customer needs for many years to come.”
