New Operations Manager Joins Namaka Subsea
Namaka Subsea has appointed Alan Melia as operations manager of the company.
Alan has nearly 40 years’ experience in the diving industry. He joins Namaka Subsea from IMCA, where he held the position of technical manager.
Alan has, during the course of his career, also held positions such as offshore diving manager, diving technical authority and diving operations manager.
He has experience in developing diving safety management systems for start-up diving contractors, helping the companies meet IMCA’s requirements for contractor membership in the Diving Division.
Namaka Subsea director, Sandy Harper, said: “It is great to introduce Alan to the team as he brings with him years of operational experience including project management and engineering as well as diving safety expertise. I personally look forward to working with Alan again, having worked with him previously over the years.”
