Nigerian LNG cargo on way to Portugal

REN-operated Sines LNG import terminal in Portugal is to receive a fresh cargo of the chilled fuel, shipping data by the Port of Sines shows.

The cargo will be delivered from Nigeria LNG’s Bonny Island liquefaction plant onboard the 141,000-cbm LNG Adamawa.

The carrier delivered to NLNG in 2005 from South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries is expected to arrive at Sines on December 19.

Sines LNG terminal, located on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, has a nominal send out capacity of 600,000 cubic meters per hour or 5.26 bcm per year.
