EMAS AMC has successfully completed the first of several riser replacements for Statoil on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The scope of the riser replacement on Snorre B and the other floating platforms comprised by the contract includes riser recovery and installation work. In offshore operations, EMAS AMC has utilised the state-of-the-art construction vessel AMC Connector.
“We are very pleased to have completed the first of several riser replacements for Statoil. This project is important to EMAS AMC, as it showcases a combination of our reputable engineering capabilities with our modern fleet of construction assets. We are looking forward to successfully completing the work on the rest of the floating platforms,” says Svein Haug, Regional Head for EMAS AMC Europe and Africa.
Engineering and planning commenced in January 2012, while the offshore operations on Snorre B took place in March 2012.
