Norway: Höegh Takes Delivery of 4.900 Capacity PCTC Vessel

In July 2011 Höegh Autoliners took delivery of Hull XSI1461C. This is the third 4 900 capacity PCTC built by Xiamen Shipbuilding Industries for Höegh Autoliners. The Vessel will be named at an official naming ceremony which is planned to take place in October at the Höegh Autoliners car terminal in Maputo, Mozambique. Her Excellency Maria da Luz Guebuza, First Lady of the Republic of Mozambique, will be the Lady Sponsor of the vessel.

A vessel naming ceremony is an important occasion for welcoming a new vessel into our fleet and for wishing her a safe and happy time at sea. In Höegh Autoliners, we have had long traditions for using these occasions to demonstrate our appreciation to the building yards and as an opportunity to profile the company with customers and special guests. Each occasion is carefully planned and it is a very memorable occasion.
