Norway: Production from Grane Offshore Field Cut
Production on the Grane field in the North Sea has been temporarily reduced.
In connection with start-up after a scheduled maintenance and modification stop, a problem occurred on the injection compressor which is crucial to maintaining full production.
The platform’s oil output is presently limited. Statoil expects production to continue with reduced capacity for three to six weeks.
The group has an interest of 36.66% in the Grane field. Statoil’s share of Grane production was 54,700 barrels per day in 2010.
