Norway: Vestnes Ocean Secures Furniture Order for Big Pipelayer Deep Energy

Vestnes Ocean AS received an order of Willy furniture for the big pipelayer Deep Energy which is being built at STX Europe Florø. The ship has an accommodation for 140 persons and this comes as the biggest single order Vestnes Ocean has received of its Willy furniture line.

Willy was chosen cause of its modern design, practical solutions like sound absorbing door system.

The company is also supplying new floors in all cabins for the vessel. The shipowner went for the Gerflor Karavel floor. Vestnes Ocean is the Norwegian agent for these floors for the maritime market. The good designs in combination with the floors technical high quality made the decision easy.

Vestnes Ocean AS has earlier received the installation job of the accommodation and is performing all technical insulation in the technical rooms as well as a pipe insulation job.

Vestnes Ocean is a turn key supplier of accommodation solutions for the maritime industry. The company has developed its own concept of ship furniture “Willy”, especially made for the life onboard, together with the designers Ralston & Bau.
