Norwegian cargo heading for Sagunto LNG terminal

Saggas-owned Sagunto LNG terminal in Valencia is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Norway next week.

Shipping data reveals that the 140,000 cbm Arctic Voyager departed from Statoil’s Hammerfest LNG facility on January 26 and is scheduled to dock at the Spanish terminal around February 3.

The terminal with a 7.6 million tons per annum capacity commenced operations in 2006 and added the fourth LNG storage tank in 2011, raising the terminal’s total storage capacity to 600,000 cubic meters.

Sagunto facility with its 1.150.000 Nm3/h regasification capacity covers up to 25 percent of Spanish demand for gas.
