NRP Receives Post-Panamax Bulker

Norway’s privately owned investment firm Ness, Risan & Partners (NRP) has become a new owner of a 2011-built dry bulk carrier.

The company said it recently purchased and took delivery of the 93,000 dwt Post-Panamax ship.

As informed, the transaction has been completed together with Greek ship management company W Marine which will be the technical and commercial manager.

“The vessel is purchased at an attractive price, in a market were the time charter rates have improved,” NRP said.

No further details on the vessel name, seller or price have been revealed.

Founded in 2000, NRP offers direct investment and fund solutions within the shipping, offshore and real estate sectors.
