Ocean Safety Establishes New Depot in Aberdeen (UK)

The UK’s largest independent marine safety equipment supplier, Ocean Safety, has opened a fourth depot in the UK, this one in Aberdeen at the heart of the oil and fisheries industry on the east coast of Scotland.

The depot will carry the full range of Ocean Safety stock. It will also be a lifejacket and survival station, and will be manufacturer approved for that purpose.

Ocean Safety’s Sales Director Mark Hart says: “Establishing the new depot reflects the growing business of Ocean Safety and the customer demand from the expanding offshore renewable market.”

The Aberdeen depot will be managed by Aidan Morrissey who already has many years of experience of safety products in the commercial maritime industry. He will also be joined by Service Technician Paul Bonner who will take charge of servicing of lifejackets, survival suits and MOB recovery cradles.

The Ocean Safety depot is already fully operational, and is fully manufacturer approved to service regulated safety products.
