The 339,000 cbm vessel was delivered by South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and is the fourth and final VLCC handed over to the company in 2019.

Upon delivery, the Marshall Islands-flagged crude carrier commenced a 15-year bareboat charter to Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp with a 5-year sub-charter to Koch Shipping.

With a gross tonnage of 161,300 GT, Nissos Antiparos features a length of 330 meters and a width of 60 meters. The tanker currently has a market value of USD 94.06 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue.

Okeanis Eco Tankers was established in 2018 by the Alafouzos family to take over its fleet of tanker vessels and newbuilds. With seven tankers built from 2015 to 2018 and eight VLCCs slated for delivery in 2019, the company focuses on eco-designed vessels fitted with scrubbers.
