Oceanteam Gets New Interim CEO
Oceanteam informed that its board member, Diederik Legger, has resigned with immediate effect to assume the position of interim CEO of the company.
Diederik Legger, board member of Oceanteam since July 31, 2017 will take over the day-to-day management of the company from Meindert van Genderen, who has been acting as interim CEO of Oceanteam as of March 28, 2018.
Keesjan Cordia, who recently took a substantial shareholding in the company, said: “We are thankful to Meindert van Genderen who has steered the company through bondholders’ meetings and associated extraordinary general meetings: necessary steps in the extensive debt-for-equity swap process, the appointment of a new auditor and the issue of new equity.”
Meindert van Genderen will remain connected to the company in the role of advisor and has been made responsible for several crucial files for the company.
