Odfjell Drilling sad that the company is awaiting information from DSME and will submit more information in due time.

Deepsea Aberdeen is an enhanced GVA7500 design.

Until now the rig was due for delivery in May 2014 and set on a 7-year contract for BP in the West of Shetland area.

The unit is designed for operations in harsh environments and at water depths of up to 3,000 m.
