OEG Offshore Expands Services in the Caribbean

OEG Offshore announced the further expansion of its service offering in the Caribbean with a new depot location, agent appointment and major fleet acquisition in Trinidad and Tobago.

OEG Offshore has appointed EPIC Energy Services Limited as of 1st January 2013 to act as its Trinidadian agent and representative. EPIC Energy Services Limited has recently moved into new premises in La Brea at Lot 43 on the Labidco Industrial Estate and OEG Offshore’s Trinidad fleet of CCUs shall be based at this location, which is ideally suited to servicing the customers’ needs.

EPIC Energy Services Limited is managed by Kevin Saroop, whose has been instrumental in expanding the family run transport group, Saroop’s Company Limited which is based in La Romain, Trinidad, W.I.

To provide an immediate inventory of equipment in Trinidad OEG Offshore has also completed the purchase of the Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) fleet of Container & Trailer Services Limited in Trinidad. This fleet of over 200 CCUs, all to the internationally recognised DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 standard, is available for immediate rental or sale from EPIC Energy Services Limited.

As part of OEG Offshore’s further commitment in the region, significant amounts of new CCUs to DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 standard are being made available for both rental and sale. The first batch of new CCUs will arrive during January 2012 with the Trinidad based fleet expected to grow to some 500 items over the next 12 months.
