Officials Visit Dredger “D’Artagnan”

Officials Tour Dredger D'Artagnan

The Director General of JSC Lenmorniiproekt, Vladimir Merzlikin and Sergey Gorelik, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot, met recently to talk about the construction of Sabetta Port.

During the meeting, also attended by Rosmorport’s Executive Director Andrey Lavrishchev and the Deputy Director-General for safety of navigation Victor Vanyukov, the wide range of topics related to the development of the Sabetta port were discussed.

Officials also spoke about the Sabetta port dredging program and paid the visit to the self-propelled heavy duty cutter suction dredger “D’Artagnan”, which is currently working on the construction of the Sabetta port approach channel.

This DEME’s Cutter Suction Dredger D’Artagnan, built by IHC Holland, is a state-of-the-art vessel capable of dredging to a depth of 35m. Equipped with two inboard dredge pumps and one submerged dredge pump on the cutter ladder, the vessel has overall length of 123.80 m, and the overall breadth of 25.20 m.
