Offshore Marine Management Bolsters Management Ranks

Bristol-based subsea specialist Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has added two new members to its team this January.

Perry Symons has joined OMM as chief operating officer. Overseeing OMM international offshore projects, he will also co-ordinate service development at a strategic level.

Symons is said to bring over twenty years’ experience and knowledge of the marine and subsea industry to OMM.

Phae Pritchard has been appointed as operations and maintenance manager. Pritchard, coming to OMM from Centrica renewables, will be responsible for current and future OMM projects.

According to OMM, Pritchard brings her expertise to both project management of technical engineering works, including subsea, wind turbine generators (WTG) and commissioning, and people management.

“Our dedicated workforce will benefit greatly from the diverse experience, and knowledge of the offshore industry, of our new team members,” Rob Grimmond, managing director of OMM, said.

”As the industry changes, OMM must be responsive to shifting market conditions, and to continue in developing the range of services which we offer in order that we maintain service quality and our strong market position. We have adapted and strengthened our strategic position by investing in the right people to drive innovation, enabling us to continue to deliver cost effective topside and subsea solutions that meet customer needs for many years to come.”
