Business & Finance

Norwegian project management firm Omega has signed a contract extension with German oil and gas company Wintershall.

Omega said on Monday that the company would continue to deliver consultancy services to Wintershall’s projects in Norway.

Under the scope of the contract extension, the company will deliver management, engineering construction, project control, completion, and supply chain management services.

Omega has worked with Wintershall since 2013 when the two signed a contract for the use of Omega’s Pims system on the Brage and Maria fields. The Pims solution entails a cost, risk management, experience, benchmarking, and project management control system.

Kristin Jæger, Department Manager in Omega, said: “We are looking forward to continuing working with Wintershall, which has been one of our most important clients for the past years, through the delivery of consultancy services and Pims systems.”

The company delivers individual consultants or complete teams for projects of all sizes. Project personnel can work in various fields and sectors such as engineering, information and communication technology, project management, subsea and marine operations.
