Origin Energy, the owner of a 37.5 percent stake in the Australia Pacific LNG project, has agreed to deliver LNG to ENN of China.

According to the deal that comes following a non-binding heads of agreement signed by the two companies in March, Origin will supply 280,000 tons of LNG per year to ENN for a period of five years.

Deliveries of LNG under the SPA are expected to begin in calendar year 2018 or 2019 following completion of ENN’s Zhoushan receiving terminal in Zhejiang province, China, Origin said in its statement on Wednesday,

Origin further said that it has the flexibility to provide liquefied natural gas to ENN from its portfolio.

Once completed ENN’s Zhoshuan LNG receiving terminal in the Zhejiang Province will have a capacity of 3 million tons of liquefied natural gas.
