Osiris Projects, owned by the locally headquartered Bibby Line Group, were in attendance at the ceremony, held at St George’s Hall, Liverpool on the 3rd July and hosted by former BBC broadcaster Peter Sissons.

Competitors in the MSIF Business of the Year (51-250 employees) category included VIP Computer Centre and Boodles, with judges interested in outstanding financial performance as well as specific business achievements. Osiris Projects have grown significantly over the past year and will soon employ over 100 people in the North West, adding another specialist survey vessel to their fleet of 5 in early 2015. Managing Director, Andrew McLeay, comments: “It is a huge honour to be singled out for such a high profile award and it demonstrates the development and progress of the company over the past few years.”

On top of this, Osiris Projects were also highly commended for The University of Liverpool Knowledge Business of the Year award. Technical Director, Jim Walters, added: “The nature of our business requires constant development and innovation in order to maintain our niche in the market. This has been the success of the company over the past few years and it will be essential as we continue to grow. We are constantly improving our vessels and equipment and are currently developing something we believe will change certain aspects of the marine survey industry.”
