Pacific Radiance Director Under Investigation

Pacific Radiance executive director Mok Weng Vai was arrested by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) on suspicion of violating the Prevention of Corruption Act of Singapore.

According to the company, Mok has not been charged in Court, and was released on police bail on the same day.

Mok was appointed as the Group’s executive director in July 2006. He co-founded the Group through the incorporation of Strato Maritime Services in 2002. Mok heads the offshore support services division, which represents the Group’s core business segment.

The company’s board notified it is unable to provide further details at this time as it understands that the CPIB’s investigation is ongoing, and also added it will notify of any material developments relating to the investigations as they arise.
