Pension Denmark Reports Growth in 2011

Pension Denmark reported another year of growth.

In 2011, the Pension company achieved a return on investment of DKK 10.5 billion. Premium income rose to 10.5 billion, and the balance sheet grew by DKK 16 billion to DKK 122 billion.

We are very pleased to give members one of the industry’s highest return in 2011, it has been a particularly challenging year to invest in. We have carried out several innovative initiatives such as the investment of 3.8 billion in  and the agreement with the Export Credit Fund of 10 billion for the financing of Danish export orders, “says CEO Torben Pedersen Möger, Pension Denmark.

At the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit in New York he said: “At the moment we have invested or committed $1.5 billion to solar and offshore wind projects.

The company is planning to allocate DKK 2.3 billion for investment in large renewables projects.
