Pertamina, Kalla Group to join forces on LNG terminal development

Kalla Group’s unit PT Bumi Sarna Migas revealed plans to join forces with PT Pertamina to develop an LNG receiving terminal in Banjarnegara, Banten.

According to Pertamina’s director Yenni Andayani, the company planned to build an LNG receiving terminal on the west side of Java.

Local media report her saying that BSM offered a project that would have a total capacity of 500 mmscfd.

Although Andayani did add that no contract for the project has been signed yet, reports show that Kalla Group is about to reveal the project in mid-January and that PT Pertamina will buy a 51% stake in BSM for this project.
