As informed, the LNG break-bulking STS transfer took place in Brunei Bay, Sabah, Malaysia.

The delivering vessel, Seri Bijaksana, transferred 80,000 cbm of LNG cargo to LNG carrier Polar Spirit and 62,000 cbm to Lerici. The two ships then made their separate deliveries to two receiving terminals in China.

The 1993-built Polar Spirit is operated by Bermuda-based Teekay LNG Partners and the 1998-built Lerici by Malaysia’s MISC, data provided by VesselsValue shows.

PETRONAS completed its first LNG STS break-bulking operation in June 2018, and the second in April 2019.
