Petronas makes management change

Malaysia’s Petronas informed that it has made changes to its senior management. 

In a filing to the stock exchange, the company said that Arif bin Mahmood  has been appointed as executive vice-president and chief executive officer of downstream business, succeeding Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin.

Previously he has held positions of Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Risk, Vice President, Corporate Strategic Planning and Vice President, Oil Business (responsible for the refining, downstream marketing, global lubricant, crude and product trading businesses). He also had held various senior managerial positions in Petronas Gas Berhad, Engen Petroleum Limited, Petronas Dagangan Berhad and Asean Bintulu Fertilizer.
