Dutch Company Huisman has shared a photo of the Ceona Amazon vessel. Huisman, responsible for the installation of a 570 tonne multi-lay pipe tower and two heavy duty 400 tonne offshore cranes on the vessel, said this was the last picture of the Ceona Amazon taken in front of the Huisman Schiedam quayside.

Later today, the Ceona Amazon will leave the Huisman Schiedam location, for the final outfitting at the Mammoet quayside.

The 199.4m long and 32.2m wide,  Ceona Amazon will, upon completion, embark on its first contract, in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

This will be Ceona’s first rigid pipelay project in the area for US independent oil & gas operator, Walter Oil & Gas Corporation.

The Ceona Amazon will be deployed for the Coelacanth Export Pipelines project with the scope of work encompassing the installation of an oil and gas export line tying the new Coelacanth Platform into existing pipeline infrastructure.
