Pluto LNG production target unchanged after shutdown

Australian LNG player Woodside informed the production at its Pluto liquefied natural gas plant on the Burrup Peninsula has restarted.

This follows the precautionary action to shut-in production after a submersible drilling rig under contract to another party drifted near Pluto flowlines, the company said in a statement.

The drilling rig, Atwood Ospray, owned by Atwood Oceanics parted several mooring lines and drifted approximately three nautical miles from its original position during Cyclone Olwyn.

Woodside earlier said that the production will be restarted progressively, but the 2015 production target remains unchanged ranging from 84 to 91 MMboe.
